At a glance
A little about them
Chillon is a handsome 5-year-old, 65-pound Lab/Pit mix with soulful amber eyes, a shiny black coat, and a goofy, affectionate personality. He can be shy with new people at first, but warms up quickly and loves belly rubs, couch naps, and being close to his people.
Ideal Home
Chillon enjoys playing with dogs his size or larger and has shown no reactivity or resource guarding. He can live with or without another dog. He has not been around cats. Children have not formally tested, but respectful, dog-savvy kids ages 12 and up may be a good fit.
He would thrive with an active family that enjoys walks, playtime, and adventures, along with a predictable routine and someone home for much of the day. His family should be prepared to patiently support him with separation anxiety as he builds confidence.
Ongoing Health
Chillon is neutered and vaccinated. He is expected to fill out to approximately 70–75 pounds.
Training & Support
Chillon is house trained, rides beautifully in the car, and is smart and eager to please. He currently pulls on leash and will benefit from continued leash-manners work, daily walks, and regular activity.
