Kyoshi

Kyoshi is a 15-year-old Shih Tzu with a heart full of personality and a voice to match! He came into rescue after the passing of his owner and is now comfortably settling into foster care. Don't let his age fool you; Kyoshi is a spry and active little gentleman who loves to keep his fosters entertained with his chattiness. He enjoys exploring, staying close to his people, and soaking up all the attention he can get. His deafness only adds to his charm as he vocalizes his thoughts and feelings. Kyoshi recently had a spa day and is adjusting well in foster care, ready to spend his golden years being adored and spoiled.

Ongoing Health

Kyoshi is deaf and has cherry eye. He recently had bloodwork done to establish a baseline for his health. He is a senior dog requiring ongoing veterinary evaluation and care.

Training & Support

Kyoshi is a very chatty boy, which may be partly due to his hearing loss. He is being crate trained, and while housetraining is not guaranteed, efforts are made. A secure, physically fenced yard is prioritized.
