Hi there! My name is Koda. I'm a handsome Border Collie, Shepherd, and Husky mix weighing around 75 lbs, with a beautiful medium-length coat. My foster mom says I'm "extremely smart, loving, and loyal," and I'd have to agree! I have a friendly, easy-going demeanor and a moderate energy level, making me a great companion for many adventures. I absolutely love going on walks, playing fetch, and simply hanging out with my favorite people. I'm also a very good boy – I'm house-trained and know several commands like "sit," "come," "lay down," and "shake"!

Ideal Home

I'd thrive in a home with a yard where I can run and play freely, away from distractions like loud trucks and barking dogs. While I enjoy the company of other dogs and have lived happily with two in my foster home, I don't strictly need a canine sibling to be happy. My biggest need is someone who will shower me with love and let me return that love tenfold!

Ongoing Health

I'm already neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all my vaccines and flea medication.

Training & Support

I'm generally well-behaved and have learned many commands. However, I do get a bit excited on leash when wheeled things or unfamiliar dogs get too close. I'm working hard to improve this, but I would do best with a patient adopter who is willing to continue my training or help manage our walks to ensure I feel comfortable and stay focused. Oh, and if you're looking for a running partner, I've been told I'm a great one!
