Sury is a sweet, fun, and playful companion, and at 2 years old and 61 lbs, she's a Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. She loves to "talk with you" and lives to play with people and other dogs. She was found as a stray, but thankfully she's now in a foster home and her goofy and joyful side is really shining through now that she feels safe. Sury is very sweet and welcomes everyone, human or dog, into her pack. She's a quick learner, very food motivated, and shows no signs of resource guarding. She's great with routines, smart, and up for learning new skills! She's also a collector; she loves her toys and is also fond of picking up a shoe or stray sock to take to her bed, not to destroy but to keep safe and get comfort from. She loves men and women equally, and does well with older children (especially if they want to play with her!). Sury really loves to be close to her people, either cuddling or relaxing nearby. She gets comfort from closeness, and you will surely get comfort from her too! According to her foster, she's with them about 99% of the time. Once she's chosen you, she sticks close by in a way that is so loving and devoted. This girl is so beautiful inside and out. She's going to make an absolutely dreamy companion to some lucky adopter (and their dog)!
Ideal Home
Sury needs to live with another playful dog in the home. She has so much fun playing with other dogs and loves to run around with toys, play wrestle, and throw her body around even doing somersaults! If you have a dog at home who also enjoys playing, she could be the perfect match. She'd love a family where someone is home a fair bit, as she loves to be close to her people.
