Piper

Hey there! I’m Piper, a sweet pit bull/Aussie mix with a heart much bigger than my 33-pound frame. At just two years old, I’m looking for a home where I can truly blossom. I’m a bit shy and can freeze up on leash, but with a gentle hand and some patience, I gain confidence and enjoy our walks. I absolutely adore children and get along famously with other dogs. While I haven't met any cats yet, we can arrange a meet-and-greet if needed. My favorite things include belly rubs, butt scratches, chewing on bones, and chasing tennis balls! I'm a playful and gentle soul who shines once I feel safe and loved. I respond well to kind corrections and am already crate trained.

Ideal Home

A home with other dogs would be ideal, as I find comfort and security with my canine friends. I also love children and would thrive in a family environment.

Ongoing Health

I will be spayed and fully vaccinated before I come to my forever home.

Training & Support

While I'm still working on my leash manners, I'm a quick learner and eager to please. I’m not yet potty trained, but based on my brother's success, I expect to master it within a couple of weeks. I do jump up when excited, but it’s out of pure happiness, not aggression, and I'd love some help learning more polite greetings.
