Mavis ~ Waived Adoption Fee!

Meet Mavis! She's a 2.5-year-old, 44lb female Pit mix with a heart full of love and a talent for napping on your face. Mavis is a spunky and affectionate girl who adores being close to her people. She's a bit of a queen and likes to greet you with something in her mouth – a toy, a shoe, or even a blanket – but don't worry, she just wants to be part of the action while getting all the pets she deserves. Mavis is a well-behaved girl, already crate trained and potty trained, and she's an excellent nap partner. She's also kid-friendly, though a home with older children might be best due to her enthusiastic and sometimes clumsy nature. She seems to get along well with other dogs and gets excited to see them on walks.

Ideal Home

Mavis would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of cuddles and compliments. A home where she can settle in her crate nicely and go for one to two walks a day would be perfect for this adorable spitfire.

Ongoing Health

Mavis is vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and tested negative for heartworm. She is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Mavis can be a bit bossy at times and will use her voice to express her desires, but she has shown great improvement with positive reinforcement training.
