Mango

Meet Mango! Mango is a loving, attentive 2.5-year-old female Heeler who is full of energy and spunk. She adores being outdoors, whether it's playing fetch, enjoying a good chew toy, or serving as your loyal hiking companion. Once she feels secure, Mango's sweet nature truly shines, and she'll become your shadow! She is crate-trained and house-trained.

Ideal Home

Mango would thrive in a home with experience handling herding breeds or a family that can give her a "job" to do. Her intelligence and loyalty mean she's always looking for tasks, but this can lead to anxiety and restlessness if she's not sufficiently stimulated. She is dedicated to her people but can be nervous around unfamiliar individuals. We recommend a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Mango is on a daily dose of thyroid medication. She is microchipped and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Mango is very responsive to commands and treats, and she truly wants to do the right thing, making her a great candidate for advanced training! Like many Heelers, she may have a tendency to nip or guide things with her snout, which is something to be aware of as you build her confidence and reinforce training.
