Butterscotch Sweet As Pie

Butterscotch is a sweet, wrinkly, and cuddly 3-year-old Beagle/Lab mix who weighs around 55 lbs. She's a devoted shadow dog who loves being close to her people and is especially fond of belly rubs and booty scratches. Butterscotch enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it's wandering in the yard or joining in on evening zoomies with other dogs. She's generally calm but can get excited by squirrels.

Ideal Home

Butterscotch would thrive in a home with a yard, but can also adapt to apartment living. She enjoys the company of other dogs with a similar calm demeanor but would also be happy as an only pet. She needs a cat-free home, as cats are too exciting for her.

Ongoing Health

Butterscotch is spayed and up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm preventatives.

Training & Support

Butterscotch may need a little time to decompress and settle into a new home, similar to her experience in foster care. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes incredibly devoted.

Transporation

Butterscotch is currently in Texas. We offer nationwide transport via our USDA-certified rescue transport system. Available drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
