July is an 8-year-old, 59-pound, spayed female Pitbull mix with a heart as big as her adorable smile. She was rescued from euthanasia at a county shelter in Houston, Texas, and is now living in a foster home. July is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to be by her people's side. She's happiest when she's curled up with you, enjoying cuddles and back scratches.

Ideal Home

July has lived happily in both apartment and house settings and would thrive in most homes, whether it's an apartment or a house, as long as she has people to love and a cozy spot to snuggle. While generally gentle, supervised play with very young children is recommended due to her size and occasional bursts of zoomies.

Training & Support

July is fully house-trained and comfortable in her crate. She is generally non-destructive, but it’s a good idea to keep shoes picked up to avoid any accidental souvenir-snatching. She walks nicely on leash with a little guidance and would benefit from continued leash training.
