Katie is a 7-year-old, medium-haired mixed-breed dog looking for a patient and experienced owner to help her blossom. She’s overcome a challenging past and is working hard to trust new people. Once she forms a bond, Katie is incredibly affectionate and loyal. She thrives with clear structure, support, and an environment that respects her boundaries. She wasn't able to thrive in her last adoption, and she can be wary of unfamiliar people entering the home, which is understandable given her history.

Ideal Home

Katie needs a home with an experienced owner who understands canine body language and can provide consistent routines. She needs to be the only pet in the household, as she doesn't do well with other dogs or cats.

Katie is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations.
