TEDDY

Teddy is a delightful 3.5-year-old, 10-pound bundle of joy with a fascinating mix of Chihuahua, Yorkie, Bichon, and three other breeds. When he came into our care, he was quite matted, but after a much-needed groom, his beautiful coat has grown back, and he's ready to shine! He’ll need regular grooming to maintain his good looks. Teddy underwent successful cataract surgery on both eyes, and after a short recovery period with medication, his eyesight is now excellent. He absolutely adores being a lap dog, eager to snuggle up with his favorite person. While he gets along with most dogs, he prefers calmer canine companions and can get overwhelmed by overly boisterous ones. We believe he'd do best as an only dog or with a quiet, older furry friend. Teddy is also quite good on leash and loves car rides!

Ideal Home

Teddy would thrive in a home without children under the age of 8. He's looking for experienced dog owners who can appreciate his sweet nature.

Ongoing Health

Teddy has fully recovered from cataract surgery on both eyes and now has excellent vision. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations and monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas, ticks, and parasites.

Training & Support

Teddy is fairly well house-trained but not perfect. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys car rides. He’s a loving companion who will bring much happiness to his forever home.
