About Honey

Meet Honey Bee! This sweet girl came to us in June 2024 with her three-week-old babies. They were found under a tool shed, emaciated and still nursing. Honey and her little ones were so infested with fleas and ticks that it took our staff over three hours to get them cleaned up and bathed. Despite the rough start, Honey was a wonderfully caring mom. After a vet visit, we discovered Honey was heartworm positive and would need treatment after her puppies were weaned. She has since undergone her heartworm treatment and is doing wonderfully! Honey is so sweet and well-behaved; we're not sure why she's still looking for her forever home. She listens well, loves to run and play, and is a champion kiss-giver. Honey would also make the perfect couch potato companion for cozy evenings. She's truly a perfect girl!
