Meet Lainey, a beautiful girl with a heart and soul bigger than her body! Lainey was brought in as a stray in November 2025 with no known background, and she’s estimated to be around three years old. She’s currently being lovingly fostered in Addison, Texas, and she has bloomed under her foster’s care. Her personality is truly that of a house hippo; she sleeps with her stuffed animal babies all day long on the couch, with a short zoomies break every now and then with a chew bone, and follows her foster’s two-year-old around the house. She loves children, especially littles, and she has been dog AND cat friendly! She loves long walks and doesn’t pull on the leash at all, staying right by your side. Lainey rarely barks and is usually very quiet! Potty training is going well, and she hasn’t had an accident in a long time!
Ideal Home
Lainey would prefer a home with calmer pets. She can get nervous around loud/energetic dogs and will try to hide. Loud noises from people do not affect her, nor do toddler tantrums. She truly is a precious angel who deserves the world!
Ongoing Health
Lainey is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment, which is fully covered by Mutts N Such Rescue. A health exam will be completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of adoption, and a certificate will be issued. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention and will have had a fecal analysis.
Training & Support
Potty training is going well, and she hasn’t had an accident in a long time! She is also great on a leash and rarely barks.
