Meet Gouda, a sweet soul in search of a family to bring him back into the warmth of a home. Life hasn’t been easy for Gouda—after the difficult breakup of his owners, he was left in an outdoor kennel, where he waits patiently for the chance to feel the love and closeness he once knew. Gouda’s heart is full of loyalty and longing. With his Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Doberman, Labrador, and Catahoula Leopard Dog heritage, he carries the strength and devotion of many breeds, yet all he truly wants is to stay by your side, clinging to you as close as velvet. Though he shares his past with his sisters Blu and Velveeta, Gouda would thrive in a home where he can be the only dog, the only prince deserving of undivided love and attention. He’s not fond of other male dogs or cats, and after spending years outdoors, he may need some gentle reminders about indoor manners. But beneath it all, Gouda is ready and waiting, eager to show just how deeply he can love.

A large, fenced yard will give Gouda the space he needs for his boundless energy. He is not fond of other male dogs or cats.

Ongoing Health

Gouda will be ready to join your family pending his neuter and rabies shot.

Training & Support

After spending years outdoors, he may need some gentle reminders about indoor manners. He dreams of long walks with someone he can call his own.
