Vanna

Meet Vanna! This approximately 4-year-old German Shepherd mix is a true "velcro dog" with a heart as big as her personality. She's playful, affectionate, and happiest when she's by your side, whether you're relaxing at home or out on an adventure. Vanna is a loyal and loving companion looking for a home that can offer her structure, reassurance, and plenty of affection.

Ideal Home

Vanna would thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, like playing fetch and going for walks. She's a great car companion for outings. Vanna would do best as the only dog in the home, as she's not a fan of smaller dogs and can sometimes be reactive on leash. She may do well with older children (12+) who can respect her space.

Ongoing Health

Vanna is spayed and vaccinated. She is working through some challenges related to past trauma and continues to be a work in progress.

Training & Support

Vanna has some resource guarding issues with food, toys, and people. She needs continued support with leash manners and is still polishing up her potty training, with occasional accidents. She is crate trained and with patience and consistency, she has a lot of potential to continue growing.

Transporation

Vanna is currently located with a foster. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
