This big, happy goofball is just over a year old, weighing around 79 lbs. He's a German Shepherd / Great Pyrenees mix with a heart full of love and a mind full of smarts! Apollo is a master of hugs, a connoisseur of pets, and loves nothing more than hanging out with his favorite people. He's an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys a good chase, a game of fetch, and exploring the yard for interesting sticks. He also has a special fondness for snow and doesn't mind a good brushing.
Ideal Home
Apollo would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard where he can safely explore and play. He'd be happiest with someone who works from home or can dedicate plenty of time to exercise and attention. He needs a cat-free environment, as he gets a little too excited and rough when interacting with them. He's looking for an active family ready to embrace his size and boundless energy.
Ongoing Health
Apollo experienced some digestive issues early on, possibly a reaction to NexGard Plus. He's doing wonderfully now, however, and is on a sensitive stomach food with added fiber and probiotics to keep him feeling his best.
Training & Support
This intelligent boy already knows commands like "sit," "down," "wait," "shake," and "crate," and he is house-trained. He's polishing up his leash manners after a brief cold-weather setback and is still working on his "come" command. He's a high-energy boy when it's time to play, but it's all in good fun! He is crate-trained and can happily spend several hours in his crate when needed.

Transporation
Apollo is currently in Wisconsin. He can be transported to locations in Illinois and Missouri on the weekend of July 17th & 18th, with pickup available in:
