Iris

Iris is a very sweet, special needs girl who will require a lot of love and attention to help her overcome the rough life she had before. Even though Iris is timid and scared, you can tell she really wants to come out of her shell and be a normal Husky. There are brief moments where she allows herself to remember what it is to be a Husky again, and it is one of the most rewarding experiences to witness. Iris thrives in calm and quiet environments and would likely be content if you were at work for 8 hours a day. She has a lot of potential to blossom into a really great dog if she can learn to trust at least one human.

Ideal Home

Iris would do best in a very calm and relaxing home. She would also do well with other mellow dogs or dogs that can respect her personal space. Iris might not be good around young children unless they are very experienced and know how to be respectful of her special needs and personality.

Ongoing Health

Iris is a special needs dog. She requires dedicated owners who can provide her with ample love and attention to help her become a happy and playful Husky.

Iris is working on building her confidence and learning to trust humans. Patience and a gentle approach will be key to helping her thrive.
