Banjo

Banjo is a 5-year-old, 72 lb gentleman looking for his perfect adventure buddy! He's a house-trained, crate-trained, and even a doggy door-certified canine who knows how to make a grand entrance wherever he goes. Banjo loves meeting new people and is a master at charming everyone he meets, whether you're at the local feed store or out and about. He walks beautifully on a leash, sits on command, and is a pro in the car. While he enjoys his daily strolls and little adventures, Banjo is also a master of relaxation and loves to lounge on the couch after his excursions. He's a smart, polite, and low-maintenance companion.

Ideal Home

Banjo gets along with most friendly dogs and politely ignores others, but he prefers a small, inner circle and can be selective with certain male dogs. He's not a fan of cats, pigs, or farm animals, though he's unbothered by birds. In his own yard, Banjo prefers to keep it private and isn't keen on unfamiliar animals wandering by. An experienced owner who can reinforce his excellent training would be ideal.

Banjo has had solid training and is eager to please. He's a quick learner and has mastered many good habits. Continued positive reinforcement will help him continue to thrive.

• Due to long-distance adoptions, we require veterinary references that demonstrate excellent care of previous/current pets.

Transporation

Banjo is located in Mississippi and will be transported north once his adoption is finalized. There are no transport fees.
