Godiva

Meet Godiva, an adorable "super mutt" rescued from Baja, Mexico! She's one of eight playful pups looking for their forever families. We're not entirely sure about her exact breed mix, but she and her siblings show traits that could indicate they'll grow into large or extra-large dogs, possibly in the 60-110 pound range. Mama dog is about 42 pounds, but these pups are already showing significant growth! Some of the litter resemble Aussies, while others have looks reminiscent of Anatolian Shepherds, Labradors, or Collies. Regardless of their parentage, they are the absolute best!

Ideal Home

Godiva is loving, friendly, and social, getting along well with people and other dogs. She's not currently living with cats but is expected to be great with them. Her adopter must have a work schedule that allows for a new pup at home, as she is not yet house-trained. Patience and dedication to potty training are a must, as these large pups can have accidents!

Ongoing Health

Godiva and her siblings are healthy and fully vaccinated. They have not yet been sterilized, but appointments are scheduled for late June. We are only able to consider local San Diego adopters until their sterilization surgery is completed, as the adopter will need to transport them to and from their appointments. Surgery is included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Godiva is crate trained and sleeps through the night. She will take naps in her crate when she needs a break. Her adopter must be committed to potty training and understand that accidents will happen as she learns. We are looking for adopters who will enroll her in group puppy training classes to help her grow into an amazing adult dog.

Transporation

Godiva is currently located in San Diego, California. We can only consider local San Diego adopters until her sterilization surgery is completed. After surgery, we can consider adopters outside the San Diego area.
