Pete

Meet Pete! This spunky and loving 8-year-old gentleman is a sweet boy who might need a moment to warm up to new people. Once he trusts you, he'll melt into your arms and show you his whole heart, proving to be a fiercely loyal and protective companion. Pete, an estimated 18lb Chihuahua and French Bulldog mix, is active and playful, and he did wonderfully during his cat test!

Ideal Home

Pete would do best in a home without small children, as he needs his personal space respected. He is good with most other dogs but can be a bit possessive of affection, though he responds well to gentle corrections and is learning to share the spotlight.

Training & Support

While Pete is house-trained and crate-trained, he is still learning to share attention with other dogs. He occasionally growls if another dog seeks attention while he's receiving it, but he takes corrections very well. He enjoys playing with smaller dogs.
