George

Meet George, a magnificent Newfoundland/Poodle mix who's ready to find his forever family! George is a smart, loving, and incredibly affectionate boy – he'll happily snuggle in your lap if you let him! He came to us under sad circumstances after his owner passed away, and he had a foot injury that became infected due to burs. Thankfully, he's been treated and is recovering wonderfully. We don't know his whole history, but we do know he's great with people and other dogs. He's also house and crate trained, not destructive, and clever enough to figure out how to open a toilet lid for a drink! At 5 years old and over 100 pounds, George is a big guy with a big heart.

Ideal Home

George loves people and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

George had a foot injury that included burs stuck in his fur that became infected. This has been treated, and he is recovering well. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

George is house and crate trained and is not destructive. He is known to be sneaky and clever and can open a toilet lid to get a drink.
