Patches

Hi there! I'm Patches, and this handsome cow-print gentleman you see here is my brother and best friend, Leroy. We're both two-year-old Chihuahuas who ended up at Pet Search through no fault of our own. Our previous parents were elderly and could no longer care for us physically or financially. We absolutely love zoomies in a fenced yard with our foster siblings and cuddling up on the couch with everyone. Our foster mama says our puppy-kiss attacks make her day! We don't mind the kitties in the house either. We're already potty trained for both outdoor and pad use. We're working on our leash skills since we didn't have those before coming to Pet Search. We get really frightened of cages/crates, but we're perfectly well-behaved in a room closed off with a gate, especially if there's something comfy to lay on. We also love long naps in the sun and are discovering the joys of toys, enjoying tug and fetch! We are a bonded pair, but if you give us a chance and a little patience, we'll be your best snuggle buddies for life!

Ideal Home

We'd love a home where we can continue to enjoy outdoor play and couch snuggles. We're not fans of crates or cages, but do well in a gated-off room with a comfy spot to rest.

Ongoing Health

We are neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

We are working on our leash manners and are a bit nervous about them since we didn't have them before. We're also a little shy around new things but are learning to enjoy toys.
