Scrappy would thrive in a home that can provide her with structure and consistency. She will chase cats, so a cat-free home is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Scrappy is Lyme and Ehrlichiosis positive. Treatment typically involves a 28-day course of doxycycline, an inexpensive antibiotic. It's important to note that dogs can test positive even after successful treatment. The adopter will be responsible for the cost of treatment and is encouraged to consider a lifelong joint supplement for Scrappy.

Training & Support

Scrappy gets very excited when greeting people and is looking for a family to help her manage her puppy energy by setting boundaries. She needs continued work on polite greetings and calmer attention-seeking behaviors. She also takes a little time to settle into her crate. With patience and positive reinforcement, she's sure to become an incredibly loyal companion.
