Zeus McGoose is a stunning approximately 2-year-old, 28 lb gentleman with a coat of golden-red locks, adorable freckles, and the most expressive forehead wrinkles. He looks like he stepped right out of a storybook! But his good looks are just the beginning – Zeus has a personality to match. He's sweet, fun, and wonderfully easygoing. Zeus enjoys playtime but knows when to relax, and he loves being part of whatever you're doing, whether it's lounging in the sun or cuddling with his people. He's a master of the squeaky toy, often carrying them around like precious companions, and he's also a smart cookie who loves to learn and receives treats with the gentlest mouth. Zeus is crate-trained and doing very well with potty training, with accidents being rare.
Ideal Home
Zeus would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can play with his toys, enjoy sunbaths, and zoom around. While he's done wonderfully with small dogs in his foster home, he hasn't met larger dogs yet. We are happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with a dog that has a similar temperament to yours. He has the potential to be an incredible family dog, especially for a family with older children who want a goofy, toy-loving companion.

Zeus is eager to please and enjoys learning. He is crate-trained and well on his way to being perfectly potty-trained.

- The adoption fee is $1600, which includes vetting (vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, flea/heartworm prevention, microchip), a health certificate, and transport.
- An $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs.
- Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
Transportation
Zeus is currently fostered in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time and receive photo updates.
