Hello there! I'm Macy, a sweet, extroverted, and glass-half-full kind of girl looking for my forever snuggle-buddies! I'm a 2-year-old Pit Bull mix who weighs around 52 pounds, and my volunteer fans say most of that is pure personality and irresistible charm. My soft coat, warm golden-brown eyes, happy face, cute "eyebrows," and roly-poly body make me quite the head-turner! I'm a social butterfly who will trot right up to you with my floppy bunny ears, signature tongue-out grin, enthusiastic tail wags, and wiggly butt, as if we've known each other forever. I absolutely love playing fetch, though I may not always share the ball! You'll often find me zooming around the yard with my prized tennis ball, feeling like a champion. If you have treats and sweet talk, I'll give you VIP access to my kisses, snuggles, and nudges for belly rubs. I enjoy leaning against your legs or gazing up at you with complete adoration. I love learning new tricks and especially enjoy training sessions when snacks are involved. I've already mastered "Sit" and am working on "Down." I have excellent manners and patiently wait for treats, taking them gently from your hands. During walks, I can get a little excited about all the smells and pull a bit at first, but a cheerful "Macy!" or a kissy sound will have me trotting back to you, ready to sit pretty for a treat! I also check in regularly and am eager to interact with you. I enjoy running the fence with friendly, well-mannered shelter doggos, but I tend to prefer human companionship. If a dog barks at me, I might offer my opinion, too. If you have a dog at home, please bring them for an on-leash, supervised meet and greet so we can see if we're a good match.
