Ricardo GP

Ricardo is a handsome 3-year-old Great Pyrenees who weighs about 75 lbs. He was rescued from a shelter in Texas after being sadly abandoned by his previous owners. He was feeling quite down and untrusting at first, but with the love and patience of his foster family, he's really starting to come out of his shell. His foster parent describes him as a "big baby" who absolutely adores attention and needs lots of love. He's good with other dogs and would thrive with an experienced adopter who understands the breed. It's been tough for Ricardo to be moved around, so he's looking for a stable home where he can build trust and feel secure.

Ideal Home

Ricardo needs a fenced-in yard to explore and play safely. He would do best in a home with an experienced Great Pyrenees owner. He should not live in a home with small children.

Ongoing Health

Ricardo is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Ricardo is house-trained. He needs an adopter who can give him the time and patience he needs to adjust to a new environment and build trust.
