CupCake

Cupcake, also lovingly known as Miss Cakes, is a sweet and funny 6-year-old who has charmed her way into our hearts. Unfortunately, life has taken an unexpected turn, and we are now seeking a loving foster or forever home for her. Don't let the lack of mobility in her back legs fool you – Cupcake is a true "track star" and has surprised us with her speed. She does require bladder expression and diapering to stay clean and prevent UTIs, but we are happy to guide her new caregivers on the best practices for her care.

Ideal Home

Cupcake would thrive in a home that can provide her with the specialized care she needs. She loves cuddles and attention, and also enjoys her quiet time on a cozy bed. Given her "piranha-like" teeth, she will need durable toys.

Ongoing Health

Cupcake has paralysis in her lower body, the cause of which is unclear. She requires regular bladder expression and diapering. She also experiences intermittent tummy trouble, for which she is on supplements. We can provide information on where to purchase these supplements at a good price.

Training & Support

While Cupcake is a wonderful companion, she will need a home committed to her specialized care routine. We are happy to offer guidance and training sessions to help her new family become confident in managing her needs. We are also willing to spend time with potential adopters to share our experience and knowledge.
