Meet Sydney, a 2-year-old pittie/staffy mix with a big heart and an even bigger smile! Sydney is a total love bug, specializing in kisses, hugs, cuddles, and staying close to her favorite people. She's goofy, full of personality, and once she bonds with you, you're her whole world! Sydney is also an adventurous spirit who loves car rides, walks, and exploring new places. She takes a moment to observe her surroundings and then dives right into her curious, loving self, often followed by adorable zoomies.
Ideal Home
Sydney would love an active family who enjoys including her in daily life and can help guide gentle greetings, as she can get a little jumpy when excited. She has done well with children as young as 13 months old and would also enjoy a canine companion, preferably a medium-energy male dog who respects her space initially. A calm or avoidant cat would also be a good fit. She can thrive in an apartment or a house, as long as she has plenty of love and attention.
Ongoing Health
Sydney is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Sydney is a toy enthusiast and enjoys fetch, sticks, and solo play. While she can get a little playful with cats, she is easily redirected.

Transporation
Sydney is located in the Houston, Texas area. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. An $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
