Bud

Meet Bud, a charming 2-year-old miniature poodle mix who's ready to bring a big dose of joy into your life! Bud is an outgoing, playful, and affectionate boy who loves nothing more than to be by your side, especially if there's a cozy spot on the couch involved. He has a wonderful balance of playful energy for adventures and games, but is also calm enough to settle in for some quality cuddle time. Bud is a polite and social companion, enjoying playtime with other dogs and showing a gentle nature with children. He appears to be mostly cat-friendly, though slow introductions and supervision are recommended.

Bud would thrive in a home that loves small dogs and is looking for a loyal best friend to share couch cuddles, daily walks, and plenty of affection.

Bud is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date on all preventions.

Training & Support

Bud is fully housebroken and crate trained for up to four hours. He can get a little anxious during car rides but is making progress with patience and positive experiences. While he may pull a bit on leash when he spots another dog, he is very redirectable and eager to learn, making continued leash training manageable.

Transporation

Bud is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but can be transported out of state to an approved adopter. Transports run every few weeks, and we will schedule Bud on the next available transport once approved.
