Osa (CP)

Hi everyone! My name is Osa, which means bear in Spanish! I'm a black lab girl with silky soft fur, warm eyes, and a lot of pup-energy! I was found on the streets in bad shape and very hungry, with a limp in one of my front legs. A kind woman found me and brought me to the shelter where I finally experienced safety, food, water, and friends! My leg has healed completely, and I'm ready for all the fun! I love getting attention from humans, and soft pets and chin rubs are the best! I'm very friendly, but I'd love a human to teach me proper doggy etiquette and help me become fully compatible with my new family. I enjoy playing with my doggy friends and would be happy with another dog in the home, or with plenty of exercise and playdates. I love toys, especially ropes and pretty much anything I can get my paws on! I can't wait to meet my future family and go on adventures with them!

Ideal Home

A family that can provide me with consistent training and socialization to help me learn proper doggy manners. I would love another dog in the home, but it's not a must if I can get plenty of exercise and playdates.

Ongoing Health

My leg has healed completely, and I am now pain-free.

Training & Support

I am still learning doggy social etiquette and would benefit from a patient owner to help me learn. I can sometimes get overly excited and accidentally run over smaller dogs.
