Arby

Meet Arby, also affectionately known as "Arby-Rhubarby"! This lovable 6-month-old pup, weighing around 40 pounds, is a brindle bundle of happiness. Rescued from the county shelter after a long wait, Arby's journey began with a special video that caught our attention. We suspect he has Heeler and Bully breed traits, with a possible hint of Lab, all contributing to his friendly and easygoing personality. Arby has never met a stranger and loves everyone he meets, including humans and other dogs. He quickly bonded with a canine companion upon rescue and has seamlessly integrated into his foster family with multiple rescued siblings. Arby is a slow grower, and we don't anticipate him exceeding 50 pounds when fully grown. He enjoys toys, splashing in the doggie pool, and truly making the most of every day.

Ideal Home

Arby loves everyone, but we are recommending a home without cats, as he tends to bark at them without any real intent.

Training & Support

Arby is wonderfully submissive and eager to learn. Like many Heelers, he enjoys herding his canine friends and may occasionally nip at their heels during play. He responds well to corrections from other dogs and is learning appropriate boundaries. He is crate trained and house trained.

Transporation

Arby is located in Texas and can travel safely with our trusted transport partners, Freedom Run Express or Tigger's Texas Transport, for out-of-state adopters. We adopt to multiple states to help each dog find the perfect forever home.
