KAGE

Meet Kage, a resilient and joyful boy who has overcome quite a bit to find his forever family! After two unfortunate encounters with cars that resulted in pelvic and tail fractures, Kage underwent intensive surgery and a dedicated recovery period. He's now fully healed, bursting with happiness, and ready to bring endless color and silliness into his new home. Kage truly believes life is worth living and approaches each day with enthusiasm.

Ideal Home

Kage would thrive in a home that understands the importance of play and mental stimulation. He absolutely adores toys and bones, so a plentiful supply would make him the happiest pup! He's also a treat-motivated learner, eager to please with his smarts. Kage would greatly benefit from having one or two canine companions to share his puppy energy with, as he's shown to be respectful of both dogs and cats. A yard would also be a wonderful addition to his new home.

Ongoing Health

Kage has made a full recovery from his pelvic and tail fractures. He has no ongoing health concerns to report.

Training & Support

Kage is a smart and eager boy who picks up on commands quickly, especially when motivated by treats! He knows "sit," "down," and "shake." While he's learning to be patient on walks and is improving daily with leash manners, he will need adopters who can continue to guide him with patience as he learns the best way "to dog." He's learning about boundaries and is adjusting well, but patience will continue to be key in his ongoing development. He's also learning to manage his excitement when it's time to go out, and he won't jump up when it's time for his walks.
