Henny

Henny is a big girl with a whole lot of personality, and she's ready to share it all with you! This couch potato loves to be right in the middle of everything and will happily follow you from room to room. While she's not a fan of her crate and will let you know it, she's otherwise a quiet observer, only barking when someone knocks at the door. Henny adores company, especially! She's been fantastic with children of all ages, from toddlers to older kids, and has shown a gentle nature, even around a baby eating. She's mostly a laid-back lady, but don't be surprised by a burst of energy where she'll zoom around the house! When Henny wants something, like a treat, she's very vocal and will let you know with whines, gurgles, and a paw stomp that she means business! At night, she loves to snuggle up close, often using you as a pillow while you relax. She's a smart cookie, too, knowing commands like sit, lay, stay, and place. She even knows to go to her place while you eat dinner, so she's not underfoot. You'll need to be firm with your tone when giving commands, as she can get excited, but she's eager to please. Henny is not crated except for brief moments when guests arrive, just until they're settled. She's not a destructive chewer, and while she's generally calm, she thinks picking up sticks in the yard is a fun game! Henny is looking for love and treats, and in return, she'll be the best companion you could ask for.

Ideal Home

Henny loves company and would be happiest in a home where she can be around her people.

Training & Support

Henny knows basic commands like sit, lay, stay, and place. She needs a firm tone when given commands as she can get excited. She is not a fan of her crate and is vocal about her dislike.
