Knuckles

Meet Knuckles! This gentle 6-year-old boy is ready for a fresh start. Knuckles arrived at the shelter significantly underweight, and the stress of his environment took a heavy toll on him. He was at serious risk of losing his chance at a new home due to overcrowding and limited resources. Thankfully, he was selected for rescue and given a second chance at life.

Knuckles is incredibly sweet and loves people. He has a calm, gentle nature that makes it hard not to fall in love with him. He also enjoys the company of other dogs. With patience, kindness, and a predictable routine, we believe his true personality will continue to blossom. He doesn't need perfection, just patience, understanding, good meals, and a family willing to help him regain his confidence.

Knuckles may not suit a home with shared walls.

Ongoing Health

Knuckles has received a spay/neuter surgery, rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccinations, heartworm test, microchip, deworming, and heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

Training & Support

Knuckles needs patience, understanding, and good meals to help him regain his confidence.

Our animals live in foster homes throughout the Madison area. We do not have a shelter where animals are available for daily viewing. Applications are the first step in our process.
