Zack is the ultimate cuddle bug! If there's a lap available, he plans to be in it. He's laid-back and marches to the beat of his own drum. Extremely cuddly, affectionate, easygoing, sweet, and happy to hang out with his people. Zack only weighed 14 pounds when rescued and you can see every rib on his body. Thankfully, he is now safe and has seen our veterinarian, received his examinations and vaccines, and will never again have to wonder where his next meal is coming from. We expect Zack to be around 30-40 pounds when fully grown.
Ideal Home
Zack would thrive in a home where he is loved, cherished, and spoiled for the rest of his life! His forever home is required to have a totally enclosed, physically fenced yard. He is good with other dogs after a proper introduction and has done well around children 12 years old and older. We are unsure how he would do with cats.
Ongoing Health
Zack is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives.
Training & Support
Zack is smart and catching on to potty training quickly. So far, there have been no overnight crate accidents, and he continues to improve every day. We require all our dogs under the age of 1 year to attend 2 obedience classes (each class is a 6-week session) outside the home.

- All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes.
- We do not do same-day adoptions.
- A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s).
- You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs.
- No out-of-state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters.
- Zack's adoption fee is $350.
