26-078 Jessie "JUST ARRIVED"

Jessie is a gorgeous, sweet Australian Shepherd mix who recently joined our Wags family with her "Toy Story Litter." She's a devoted momma, having kept her seven puppies safe for four months after they were rescued from under a home. Jessie has tested positive for heartworms, but we're committed to turning her frown upside down and starting her journey to a healthier, happier life!

Ideal Home

Jessie needs a home where she won't be left alone for long periods. A securely fenced yard is a must, and any poisonous plants should be removed. All adult household members must be aware of and consent to adopting her. If you rent, proof of a pet deposit and a lease that allows pets is required.

Ongoing Health

Jessie is currently being treated for heartworms. She will receive all necessary vaccinations, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Your adoption fee covers her spay or neuter surgery with a DSDA vet partner, as well as any other necessary medical care. You'll also receive the following month's preventatives complimentary with your adoption.

Training & Support

As Jessie is still adjusting to her new life, she will benefit from continued training and support. We're dedicated to helping her thrive.

• You must be 21 years or older with a valid ID showing your current address.
• All resident pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, up-to-date on core vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. No exceptions.
• A vet check is required for all resident pets.
• You must be willing and able to dedicate the time and resources for training, medical treatment, and responsible pet care.

Transporation

Jessie is located in Dallas. We require a home visit for all adoptions, so we only adopt to homes in Dallas and surrounding areas.
