Mars

Mars is a charming, approximately 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who weighs about 45-50 lbs. He was found abandoned and alone, but thanks to the kindness of strangers and the swift action of our team, he's now safe and learning to trust again. Mars is a social butterfly who adores everyone he meets and is especially fond of energetic canine companions to romp and play with. With a little guidance, he could also learn to share his home with feline friends. He'd do best in a household with older children who won't be accidentally knocked over during his enthusiastic greetings. His recall is excellent, making him a prime candidate for an active family!

Ideal Home

Mars would thrive in a home with older children. He could also live with cats with structure and guidance.

Ongoing Health

Mars is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, and we will provide his future adopter with monthly Heartgard to cover the cost of his ongoing treatment.

Training & Support

Mars is currently boarding with a dog trainer and is learning to become a dog again. He is house-trained.
