Couri

Couri is a sweet, approximately one-year-old girl who has bravely overcome a difficult past. She was rescued from a hoarding situation and was initially very fearful of people and her surroundings. Through the dedication of her foster family, Couri has started to blossom, learning that touch can be gentle and hands can be kind. She is making incredible progress and now enjoys the company of other dogs, finding comfort in their presence. Couri has learned to walk on a leash and is fully housebroken. It's a joy to see her discover the simple pleasures of being a dog, like doing little happy squiggles in her bed and going for zoomies in the yard. She reserves her special tail wags for her foster mom after playtime, a testament to her growing trust and affection.

Ideal Home

Couri needs a patient and understanding home where trust can be built over time. Someone who appreciates the beauty of small transformations and is willing to give her the space and time she needs to fully come out of her shell.

Couri has no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Couri is housebroken and leash-trained. She is still learning to initiate affection and gain confidence in human interaction, which will require continued patience and gentle encouragement.
