Rufus

Meet Rufus, a charming 2-year-old, 22-pound Cockapoo/Shih Tzu mix who's packed with personality, smarts, and star power! Rufus was found wandering the streets of Texas, a bit scruffy but with a tail that never stopped wagging. Now safe and adored, he's revealed himself to be a joyful, clever, and affectionate pup who simply wants to give and receive love. At 22 pounds, he's the perfect "pick me up" size, and he absolutely adores belly rubs!

Ideal Home

Rufus would thrive in a home that understands he has a lot of enthusiasm for life and may need a little time to adjust. He is best suited for a home with no children under the age of 10 due to his exuberance. He loves other dogs and would do well with a playful canine companion or as an only dog with active humans.

Ongoing Health

Rufus is completely vetted and ready for his forever home. He has been neutered, microchipped, is heartworm negative, and is up to date on all his vaccines.

Training & Support

Rufus is great on a leash, knows "sit," and is eager to learn. He is crate trained and house-trained, provided he is kept on a consistent schedule. He comes when called and is always trying to figure things out, driven by a desire to be a good boy.
