Meet Bucky!

This handsome five-year-old is a loyal and loving boy searching for his second chance at a good life. Bucky leads with his heart, is incredibly devoted, and is one of the best snuggle buddies you'll ever meet. He's a smart boy who quickly picks up new commands and learns with ease, showing immense potential for advanced training and fun tricks. Bucky bonds deeply with his people and thrives in a calm, structured home where he can receive all the attention. With his cream-colored coat and huggable frame, he's a whole lot of love ready to be your shadow and best friend. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and knows commands like sit, shake, come, and leave it. He especially loves car rides, squeaky toys, and earning belly rubs.

Ideal Home

Bucky will thrive as the only pet in the home. With an experienced guardian, he may be able to share his space with a calm, giant-breed companion. Due to his high prey drive, he is not suited for homes with cats or small animals. He has shown some reactivity around pushy or assertive dogs after an altercation in his foster home.

Ongoing Health

Bucky has a few sensitivities. Loud noises like hair dryers make him nervous, and nail trims are not his favorite. However, once he trusts you, he is all in, and his foster dad has been able to manage nail trims effectively with consistency.

Training & Support

Bucky is impressively intelligent and a quick learner, suggesting he'll excel with advanced obedience or new tricks. He thrives in a calm, structured environment.
