Rita is a sweet and affectionate 7-year-old, spayed female Staffordshire mix who weighs 58 lbs. She's a cuddle bug with moderate energy, perfect for a family looking for a loving companion. Rita enjoys playtime with her toys and family, and she's also a fan of car rides and special treats. She's already a pro at crate training, potty training, and leash walking! Rita was found in an overcrowded shelter and is now ready to find her forever home. She can be a little shy at first, but her playful and silly personality quickly shines through, melting hearts with her adorable puppy-dog eyes.

Ideal Home

Rita would love a home where she can receive plenty of affection and playtime. She has been respectful and playful with medium to large-sized dogs. We don't know how she would do with children or cats.

Transportation

Rita is currently in Houston, Texas. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be on the next available transport after approval.
