About Miss Midna Booty Scratch Queen
Meet little Miss Midna! This adorable and goofy girl is around 2 years old and is the quintessential black lab mix. She wakes up every day excited to simply exist, with a happy tail, zoomies, a love for toys, and an abundance of "OMG HI I LOVE YOU" energy. Midna walks into any room like it's the best day of her life – she's bouncy, silly, affectionate, and full of lovable personality. During her assessment, she was all about seeking attention and praise, truly believing she's the prettiest girl in the universe!
Midna is especially passionate about booty scratches, so much so that she has a signature move: her entire back end slowly powers down into a funny little squat. If you hit just the right spot on her back, prepare for tiny, dramatic happy kicks that show her pure joy. Her foster family's favorite thing about her is how she carries toys around like prized possessions, especially squeaky ones, happily chomp-chomp-squeaking her way through the house. If you're looking for a personal, goofy emotional support mascot, Midna is your girl! When she gets excited, she gets the cutest happy bursts of energy, bounces around, and then dramatically flops onto her side, tongue hanging out, as if she just ran a marathon.
Midna is a massive "Velcro baby" who deeply, wholeheartedly loves her people and wants to be involved in everything. She's happiest when included in everyday life, whether she's supervising dinner, emotionally helping with laundry, or snuggling nearby during TV time. She met many people during her assessment and was loving and confident, but she can get a little jumpy when excited, like an overenthusiastic Disney sidekick.
She's done well with other dogs in her foster home, showing a sweet, social, and respectful vibe. She prefers hanging with humans but is tolerant and polite with dogs. Her ideal canine friends would match her gentle, happy-go-lucky personality rather than being overly bossy. When a confident female dog entered the group, Midna became shy and removed herself, proving she's a lover, not a fighter. She gives fair "okay, that's enough, please" corrections when other dogs annoy her.
Ideal Home
Midna would absolutely love a home with a nice yard where she can zoom, carry her toys, and bounce around. Apartment living is likely not ideal for this active girl. She hasn't been officially tested with children, but older kids would probably be the best fit due to her playful and bouncy nature. Cats are a definite no for Midna; she is just a little too interested in them and would do best in a kitty-free home.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions were mentioned in the listing.
Training & Support
Midna can get a little jumpy when excited because she's so happy to see people. She would benefit from positive reinforcement and continued socialization.
