Big Bear

Meet Big Bear! He's a 10-12 week old, under 15-pound bundle of joy, expected to grow into a handsome 45-65 pound gentle giant. Big Bear arrived as a stray from California's Central Valley and has proven to be a sweet, easygoing pup. He's a bit like Eeyore in puppy form – calm, gentle, and happiest when snuggled up with his people. Big Bear loves to cuddle and is sure to become someone's loyal best friend.

Ideal Home

Big Bear would thrive in a home with a securely fenced backyard. An active family committed to training and socialization would be a great fit. In a perfect world, he'd have another friendly dog to learn from and build his confidence.

Ongoing Health

Big Bear is currently completing his puppy vaccine series over the next six weeks. He will receive his DHPP vaccination, flea treatment and deworming, and rabies vaccination. He will also be spayed and microchipped.

Training & Support

As a young puppy, Big Bear has no formal training yet. He is just beginning to learn about the world and is not yet house or crate trained. However, he is very smart and eager to please, so with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, he's expected to learn quickly.

Transportation

Big Bear is currently in a foster home in the Bay Area. All adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility, and no meet and greet can happen until an application is completed.
