Meet Loki, a charming 3-year-old Terrier mix who weighs about 11 pounds. With his adorable wire-haired coat and a heart full of loyalty, Loki is on the lookout for his forever family. He was found wandering near a school in Saltillo, Mexico, and after being cared for at a veterinary clinic, he joined our rescue program to receive the love and attention he truly deserves. Loki is now healthy, safe, and ready to embark on his new life. He's a calm and well-mannered companion who enjoys car rides and staying close to his favorite people. While he can be a bit shy with new faces, a little patience and kindness will quickly reveal his sweet, affectionate nature.
Ideal Home
Loki would thrive in a home with an active family who enjoys outdoor activities and has a fenced backyard. He needs a patient adopter who understands that rescued animals often require time to adjust and build trust. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, or those willing to hire a trainer, would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Loki has undergone a comprehensive health protocol including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and microchipped. He tested negative for heartworm and 4DX, and is on monthly preventive medication for fleas, ticks, and heartworm (Nexgard Spectra). He has a clean bill of health and a vaccine booklet is available.
Training & Support
Loki is not house-trained, and adopters should be prepared for this. He also needs a patient owner to help him build confidence when meeting new people. A willingness to work with him on his adjustment period and potentially hire a trainer is highly encouraged.

Transportation
Loki is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. We organize scheduled trips to transport our dogs to various cities and states. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey. Our transport partners will provide all necessary legal documents, including health certificates. You will receive real-time updates on your pet's journey in a private group.
