Meet Daytona!
Daytona is a delightful 7-month-old Husky/Pit mix who weighs about 54 lbs. He's an affectionate, energetic boy looking for his forever family. Daytona thrives on attention and is a smart cookie, already house and crate trained. He loves a good game of fetch and enjoys running in the yard, but he's still working on his indoor manners. He's great with adults and has been comfortable around visiting children, though he hasn't had exposure to infants or toddlers. He's currently living with his female sibling and tends to dominate her, so his compatibility with other dogs is unknown. Daytona is in the midst of the puppy chewing and digging phase and will need supervision. He also has a habit of jumping up to greet new people. He's a very loved boy who will do best with a dedicated owner who can provide ongoing love, training, and structure.
Ideal Home
Daytona would do best in a home where he can receive plenty of attention and exercise. He needs a family prepared for the challenges of a puppy going through chewing and digging stages, and who can work on his indoor manners and jumping. His compatibility with other dogs is unknown, and he dominates his current female housemate. He has no experience with infants or toddlers.

Daytona is a healthy young pup. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped.
Training & Support
Daytona is house and crate trained and knows several commands, though he needs help reinforcing them. He is eager to learn and please. He needs guidance with his indoor manners and to stop jumping up to greet people. He is not leash trained and is unsure about car rides.
