2152 Kipper

Kipper is a charming little guy with a unique talent – he can smile! He's thought to be an Italian Greyhound, Whippet/Chihuahua, or Boston mix, weighing in at about 25 lbs. Kipper loves chasing tennis balls in the yard, taking long naps, and going for car rides. He's house-trained, sleeps soundly in his crate, and walks well on a leash. He's also a quiet dog and doesn't shed much, making him a low-maintenance companion.

Ideal Home

Kipper is a bit of a "ladies man" and prefers to be close to his person. He can be initially nervous around men, likely due to a past negative experience, so he'd do best with a patient owner who can help him build trust. He would thrive as an only dog or with laid-back canine companions who don't mind him being a little bossy. While he's okay with older children who respect his space, he can be a bit overwhelmed by high-energy younger kids. Kipper needs a securely fenced yard, ideally a 6-foot privacy fence, as he's a fast runner with excellent jumping skills.

Ongoing Health

Kipper has no known ongoing health conditions. His adoption fee covers his neuter surgery, heartworm test, all vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, and microchip.

Training & Support

Kipper is working on his "sit" and "stay" commands and recently completed a two-week training program. He is learning to respect furniture boundaries and is doing well with house manners.
