Meet Gigi!

After three years on the streets and more litters than any dog should ever have to raise, Gigi is still nothing but soft, gentle sweetness. She's a beagle mix in the 35-pound range with a quiet, observant nature. Gigi is good with people, but a little shy at first, as you'd expect from a dog who had to figure life out the hard way. Give her a minute, and she settles in, leaning into kindness like she's been waiting for it. She is incredibly dog-friendly and takes a lot of comfort from other dogs, so a home with a steady canine companion would suit her well. Gigi is beautifully house-trained, sleeps in her crate without making a peep, and is not afraid of storms.

Ideal Home

Gigi is a flight risk and needs a securely fenced yard. She is affectionate towards adults. While she harbors no animosity towards children, she does startle, and her immediate reaction is to flee the vicinity, so she would do best in a home with teenagers and older.

Training & Support

Survival mode doesn't just switch off overnight. Gigi needs stability and patience as she figures out how to just be someone's dog.
