Meet Brie, a brave and sweet girl who is ready for her new beginning! Brie was hit by a car in Mexico and, thanks to the kindness of a stranger, was rushed to our vet. She spent 11 days under close observation and, though she couldn't walk at first, she has made a full recovery with rest and care. She is now fully healed, walking beautifully, and is a very social dog who loves people and other dogs. Brie was spayed before arriving in our care and is truly a lovely girl ready for her forever home. She has overcome so much and now just needs someone to love her.
Ideal Home
Brie would thrive in a home that can appreciate her resilience and offer her plenty of love and attention.
Ongoing Health
Brie has fully recovered from her past injury and has no ongoing health concerns noted. She was spayed before arriving in our care.
Training & Support
Brie is house-trained and generally social. As with any dog, continued positive reinforcement and love will help her continue to thrive.

Transportation
Brie is located in Nanaimo, BC. Approved adopters will be matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight companions during the summer months, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable. We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border, which remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
