Gillian

Gillian is a 2-3 year old, large Shepherd mix with a short, brindle coat. She was found abandoned in the woods and is now searching for her forever home. Gillian is a sweet and funny girl who would make a wonderful companion in a patient and low-key household. She can be a bit nervous when meeting new people and in unfamiliar environments, so she'll need some time and support to build her confidence. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet and goofy personality truly shines through, which is what the staff has grown to love about her. She's a great traveler, hopping into cars eagerly and settling in without issue. Gillian walks pretty well on leash, not pulling much, but she can be a bit underfoot when she's feeling nervous.

Gillian would thrive in a patient and low-key home where she can build confidence at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Gillian is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for heartworm and other common tick-borne diseases. She has been dewormed and is current on her monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She has always been well-behaved at the vet.

Training & Support

Gillian can be underfoot when she is nervous, so guidance on confidence-building and leash manners will be beneficial.
