About Ivy

Ivy is an 8-month-old bundle of energy who is back with us for a second chance at finding her forever home. We’ve learned that Ivy thrives with canine companionship and needs a confident, well-balanced, large dog to be her playmate and mentor. She's a social butterfly who loves to play and will even bark at her canine friends until they join in the fun. While she has a great off-switch once all her energy is spent, she’s always ready for more playtime! Ivy is potty trained and crate trained, and while she's still mastering house manners and puppy-proofing her environment, she's a master of mischief and reminds us to keep things out of reach. She knows "sit" but is still working on her recall, often with a playful side-eye. However, with a tasty treat, she's all ears! Ivy has happily passed her mouthing stage. She is a challenge, but with the right family and a canine mentor, she will blossom into a beautiful young lady.

Ideal Home

Ivy needs an active home with a confident, large, and playful dog to be her companion. Due to her exuberant personality, she should not be placed in a home with young children or small dogs.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be spayed prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Ivy is working on her house manners and recall. Positive reinforcement with treats is very effective. Puppy-proofing her environment is essential.
